This is a little plein air painting I did during the landscape workshop. An important aspect of this type of painting is to simplify subjects into major shapes. I quite like the result, painterly but with a nice sence of form.

This one is great too! Although you have generalized the shapes, I feel as if I can discern every tree. Funny how that works...
