I'm fascinated with the artists out there doing daily paintings. They are usually small studies many of them still life There is a fresh loose feeling about them that is very appealing. My goal is to do at least four or five of these a week. I'll use them as a warm up for my larger more involved work

I had a stretch of posting a picture a day to my website that lasted about a year back in '04. They were done in Metacreations Painter, though, not "real" paintings. But they were a great exercise for me to keep creative, especially during a time when I was doing mostly office work and missing my studio.
